Prom Day and Prep Details
After all the hard work we raised a total of $494 dollars. We were able to purchase Prom Tickets, fabric, shoes, hair extensions and their hand bags for our ladies looks. We were fortunate enough to have so many great sponsors this year. We had a fabulous Hair stylist, make up artist and two jewelry designers who created custom pieces for our girls. Nothing amazing happens over night, we spent countless hours making sure these young ladies looked fabulous. From fabric shopping and fittings this process was not easy.
Prom Scholar 2016 Design concepts
These Designs were initially produce on March 27th during our Prom Scholar meet the girls design session. We sat down with both of our scholarship winners to get an idea of what they wanted for prom. Qaysean Presented to Melissa a design he sketched a few weeks ago of a off the shoulder jeweled top with a extravagant ball skirt which, she loved. Shahedah Williams and Petrina discussed silhouettes colors and came up with this beautiful lime green and royal blue fish tale gown.

Designer's Shahedah Williams and Qaysean Williams had the opportunity to sit down with the Prom Scholar 2016 winners Petrina Dumoe, and Melissa Mighty. Both young ladies are Trenton High seniors graduating with the class of 2016. These young women have great career goals and both have very bright futures.
